The Beginnings
Introduce by our mutual friend, at the beginning Medy and Mery are communicating through chat as a friend. As time goes by, the communication getting more intense and Medy begin to develop feelings to Mery.
After countless attempts of telling his feeling and received no response, Medy decided to come all the way from Jakarta to Pekanbaru to show his serious intention.
Soon after spending few days together with endless conversation, Mery realize that they both are not only having lots of similarities but also sharing same value and dreams. Since then, by taking leap of faith we decided to take the this friendship to the next level.
The Engagement
Few months goes by, and the two of us were nearly inseparable despite the distance. Medy then decided to brings his parents to come Pekanbaru and visit Mery’s family.
Both parents finally met for the very first time and had serious discussions to take this relationship to the next level. This was when Medy put the ring on Mery’s finger, and the happy news unofficially announced to family and friends.
The Sangjit
As if it was planned by God, time goes by according to the plan since then. Three months before the wedding date, Medy’s and his families come to Pekanbaru and delivered some betrothal gifts to Mery’s family.
One of the important part from our Chinese wedding tradition had been checked off, officially symbolized the two families becomes one from now on.
Next Chapter
As the day getting closer, we are here to announce on our chosen wedding date.
Your attendance and/or prayer for our special day are much appreciated, as this will be the new amazing and beautiful chapter of us.
The wedding and wedding ceremony will be held on October 6th 2024, in Jakarta as mentioned before.
